Terms & Conditions Playroom

By booking with Rosie, you automatically agree with all terms and conditions mentioned on this page. Please read carefully before sending a bookings request.

playroom

Rosie's Playroom is a supervised playroom by experienced babysitters. The ratio babysitter-children is 1:5. Children can be collected from ski school upon request. It is recommended to book as early as possible if you plan to travel during high season (school holidays). The babysitters will make sure the children are safe and well looked after. If you need to use your buggy, we kindly ask you to bring you child in the buggy to the playroom; pick-up/drop-off can only be arranged without buggies.

ages &
languages

Rosie's babysitters are from many nationalities and most speak English, Dutch, German or French. It is very important for the children and the babysitter to be able to communicate together. Ages can be between 2 - 6 years old. Children that don't speak yet, can be from other nationality.

hours

The Playroom is in winter daily open between 9.00-17.00. Only children that are signed in are allowed inside. Pick-up and Drop-off can be done between booked times - not before or after. Extra hours will be charged per 1/2 hour.

Booking & Payment

A booking request can be made with the form on the website. You will get a message via Whatsapp/Email with the confirmation and details. Full payment must be made on the day cash in CHF or via Twint/transfer by invoice.

Cancellation

When a cancellation is made less than 24 hours before babysitting, 50% of the total price is due to pay. No refund will be given in the case of any unused pre-booked hours. As the babysitters come to many families, they won’t take care of children that are sick. Therefore we and the family are able to cancel the booking with a full refund.

lunch

Lunch is provided for bookings in the morning or full day. Bread and toppings will be served at 12.00 based on ages. You are welcome to provide other food - please inform us in the morning if your child(ren) bring their own lunch. We kindly ask you to bring a water bottle with name so your child always has something to drink.

toilet

There is a toilet available at the Playroom. Please leave instructions if your child can go themselves, need help, are potty training or are in diapers. Diapers and wipes should be provided by the family, please bring enough for the whole day.

Safety

Please note that the safety and welfare of the children is our priority. It is essential that phone numbers are given. Parents must be contactable at all times, their phones fully charged and volumes turned to loud. We will never hand over any children from our care to anyone other than the parents. In the case that another adult (like a family member) should be picking up the children, we will need their full name, a description of the person and their phone number to confirm the pick up time and location. In the event of any untoward incident occurring, you will be informed and requested to countersign a record of the incident.
