Terms & Conditions

By booking with Rosie, you automatically agree with all terms and conditions mentioned on this page. Please read carefully before sending a bookings request.

childcare

Rosie's babysitters are available for babysitting during the day and evening. Babysitting will take place in the families accommodation (hotel, chalet etc.). Children can be collected from ski school upon request. It is recommended to book as early as possible if you plan to travel during high season (school holidays). The babysitters will make sure the children are safe and well looked after.

ages &
languages

Rosie's babysitters are from many nationalities and most speak English, Dutch, German or French. It is very important for the children and the babysitter to be able to communicate together. We accepts private babysitter bookings of up till 3 children in total (in case of 3 children: 2 of the 3 children must be above 2 years old). Ages can be between 2 months - 14 years old. More children from different families? We can check for another babysitter to work together.

hours

The private babysitters work during the day between 8.00 – 18.00 and between 18.00 - 02.00 in the evening. The daytime childcare can be booked minimum of 2 hours, and 2-8 hours in the evening. The babysitter won’t stay overnight.

Booking & Payment

A booking request can be made with the form on the website. You will get a message via Whatsapp/Email with the confirmation and details of the babysitter. Full payment must be made on the day cash in CHF to the babysitter or via Twint/transfer. Costs for requested activities are paid by the family in advance.

Cancellation

When a cancellation is made less than 24 hours before babysitting, 50% of the total price is due to pay. No refund will be given in the case of any unused pre-booked hours. As the babysitters come to many families, they won’t take care of children that are sick. Therefore we and the family are able to cancel the booking with a full refund.

Meet&greet

Private babysitters will Meet & Greet 15 min before the start of babysitting at the accommodation. We encourages parents to be present and prepared for the handover so all information is given. It is very important to share everything about medications, allergies and routines. We will always give you an in-between-update per Whatsapp during the day, and a verbal feedback at the end of each day. Under 4 years old, we will hold an report of the day for sleep, feeding and toilet.

Safety

Please note that the safety and welfare of the children is our priority. It is essential that phone numbers are given. Parents must be contactable at all times, their phones fully charged and volumes turned to loud. We will never hand over any children from our care to anyone other than the parents. In the case that another adult (like a family member) should be picking up the children, we will need their full name, a description of the person and their phone number to confirm the pick up time and location. In the event of any untoward incident occurring, you will be informed and requested to countersign a record of the incident.

food&drinks

Parents should provide drinks, snacks or meals for their children. When babysitting with meal-times (lunch or dinner) the parents must arrange food for the children and the babysitter. When staying in a hotel with a restaurant, it is possible to go with the children to the restaurant and put the bill on the room. When staying in a chalet, the babysitter can cook and prepare the families pre-bought food. In the case there’s no cooking area or hotel-restaurant available, we requires cash money which can be used for a restaurant/café.

Babies

Formula or milk must be provided by the parents with written instructions regarding feeding times, amounts etc. It is very important to give all information about routines and sleep-times. Please include a supply of nappies, wipes, nappy disposal bags along with a change of clothes, comforters, dummies and bibs.

Childrens belongings

Please prepare and provide a bag for your children with toys, snacks and a water bottle. For children who may be potty training, please provide several changes of clothes. Older children may also have extra clothing for after skiing. When pick-up from ski school is planned, please bring normal shoes in a bag to the ski teacher.
